“Revolution is for the light of heart –
Light Opera will lead the way.” – The Beastly Bombing.
Saw this crazy/clever/campy/silly/smart musical about terrorism and politics last night at the Trap Door Theatre, and enjoyed it immensely. Essentially, it’s as if Gilbert and Sullivan were alive today, writing operettas about bombing, skinheads, Jews, drugs, political corruption and stupidity, and American values. Also known as.. hilarious. And with a hard-working, hard-dancing, hard-singing cast that could charm anyone. It was great.
